Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first. India couldn’t stand its ground as they lost three early wickets in power play. Shaheen Afridi was nothing short of a rock star as every delivery he bowled wasn’t much of cricket balls but sharp missiles that left Indian players deeply puzzled. Wickets were tumbling but it was Kohli supported by Pant that gave India a score something to fight for. When Pakistan came out to bat, Azam’s blockbuster set was supported expertly by Mohammad Rizwan. There was nothing India’s bowlers could produce to break this unbeatable partnership.
Pakistan outplayed and outclassed India in all departments. Pakistan chased down the target easily with thirteen balls to spare. The atmosphere at Dubai international stadium was electrifying.
