23rd March also known as Pakistan Day and Resolution Day is a big day in the history of Pakistan. On this day in 1940, the Lahore Resolution was passed by the All India Muslim League; the demand of a new homeland with provinces of the Muslim majority where they would practice their religion according to the set rules. This resolution was held at Manto Park, currently known as Iqbal Park.
